INGREDIENTS
- 4 steaks preferably New York Strip 1-in (2.5 cm) thick
- 2 cloves garlic minced or pressed
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Freshly ground pepper
- Or 1/4 of a bottle of Perfect Steak Marinade to make it the easy way.
FOR THE SEAR
- 1 bag Broil King® Griller’s Select Pellet

Rub or marinate your steak as desired, bring it to room temperature before you start grilling. Grilling the perfect steak is easy, and
generally takes less than 10 minutes. By flipping the steak through the four positions below you’ll end up with the perfect diamond shaped sear marks, every time. Searing heat enhances flavour breaks down fats and creates a delicious appearance. Turn your Broil King® Pellet grill on then press the GRILL 600°F (316°C) quick-set button. Follow the standard start-up instructions then preheat the grill completely. Brush or spray your cooking grids with cooking oil.
Trim excess fat from the steaks. In a glass dish or heavy plastic bag combine the marinade ingredients. Marinate the steaks for no more than 1 hour at room temperature, up to 3 hours in the refrigerator. Follow the Perfect Steak Grilling Guide to achieve your desired doneness.

- Flip the steak over in that same 10 o’clock position
- Flip the steak into the 2 o’clock position (sear marks line up with the cooking grid)
