This versatile rub works well on poultry, meat or seafood. Freeze any leftovers for another meal.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/4 cup mild chili powder
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp dried oregano
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme, minced
  • 1 tsp lemon zest, finely grated
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 9 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 1 tbsp dried minced onion
  • 2 tsp ground ginger

DIRECTIONS

  1. Mix all ingredients and rub lightly into the surface of whatever you are grilling.
