INGREDIENTS
- ½ an apple, cored and sliced into ¼-inch thick slices
- ice cubes
- 2 oz. gin
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. agave nectar
- ~ 2 cups sparkling apple cider
- a few sprigs of thyme, as garnish
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat your gas grill to medium-high heat (400-500°F). Very lightly oil the grids with Broil King’s Basting Brush.
- Grill apple slices for about 2 minutes per side, until nicely charred but not cooked all the way through. Transfer grilled apple slices to a cutting board and set aside. Cut a notch at the bottom of 2 slices so they can rest on the rim of a glass.
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add agave nectar, lemon juice, and gin. Shake and pour into 2 individual glasses. Place a thyme sprig in each glass and garnish with grilled apple slices. Finish with about 1 cup of sparkling apple cider per drink. Enjoy with grilled apple slices on the side.
