CITRUS MULLED WINE

A cosy evening beverage that pairs perfectly with a warm fireplace and some form of hand crafted wollen sweater.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 bottle (750 millilitres) red wine, dry
  • 2 ounces (59 millilitres) Aperol®
  • 2 ounces (59 millilitres) of honey
  • 1 orange cut into slices
  • Several star anise
  • Cinnamon sticks

DIRECTIONS

  1. Combine red wine, Aperol®, honey, orange slices, 3 cinnamon sticks, 2 anise cloves in the rib roaster. Heat over MEDIUM heat to a simmer, reduce to low and cover. Serve as necessary, use orange slices, additional anise cloves and cinnamon sticks as a garnish when serving.
