Grilled Acorn Squash

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 acorn squash, halved and seeds removed
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • Pinch salt

DIRECTIONS

  1. Prepare the Keg for direct grilling at 225°F.
  2. Combine the butter and maple syrup in a small bowl and microwave 45 seconds. Stir until butter melted, microwaving again if necessary. Add the nutmeg and salt, and divide between the two halves of squash. Brush the mixture around the edges as well.
  3. Place on the prepared Keg for 3-4 hours.
