Jaeger (Huntsman’s) Soup

This soup is loaded of fresh herbs and vegetables; wholesome, delicious and wonderfully nutritious. Serve it with some fresh bread.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 chicken breast (diced)
  • 2 bell peppers
  • 1 tbsp thyme
  • 3 tbsp dill
  • 2 tbsp parsley
  • 2 tbsp garlic
  • 2 large potatoes
  • 1 head of broccoli
  • 2 bay leaves
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat your grill in medium-high with your grilling wok on the grill surface.
  2. Saute the garlic and thyme in olive oil until the garlic begins to brown. Lightly season with salt and pepper.
  3. Add diced chicken breast to the pan or wok and saute until lightly browned.
  4. Add water or chicken stock to the pan and bring to a simmer.
  5. Chop peppers, broccoli, and potatoes into large rough pieces and add to the pan. Simmer until potatoes are tender.
  6. Finish with dill and parsley and season to taste.
