Lemon Chili Herb Rub

This spicy rub is great on pork or poultry. Use it alone, or team it up with your favorite barbecue sauce.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup kosher salt
  • 3 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest, finely grated

DIRECTIONS

  1. Mix all ingredients together, and pat lightly onto pork or poultry several hours before grilling. Freeze leftover rub for the next cook-out.
