SAUSAGE AND EGG ON A BUN

Sure, it sounds like a breakfast item, but breakfast can be delicious any time of day. There’s nothing difficult about the cooking technique here.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 Kielbasa sausages
  • 4 Sesame buns
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Pepper (to taste)
  • Shredded cheese (topping if necessary)
  • Paprika (garnish if necessary)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Whisk together eggs, milk, salt until thoroughly combined. Preheat a non-stick pan over MEDIUM heat on the side burner, lightly season with butter, pour in scrambled egg mixture and scramble as preferred, large pieces are easier to keep in a sandwich.
  2. Grill up some Polish sausages and cut them into thin ¼-in (.64 cm) slices. If you cut diagonally the slices are longer and more manageable. Put those slices on a fresh soft sesame seed bun with scrambled eggs. Add shredded cheese if necessary; a little pepper and paprika can add a smoky peppery element but not every kid likes strong flavors
