Tandoori Marinade

This spicy marinade is not for the faint of heart!

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 tbsp fresh ginger, peeled and chopped
  • 1 small onion, peeled and quartered
  • 6 cloves garlic, peeled
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1 1/4 cups plain yogurt
  • 2 tbsp ground cumin
  • 1 1/2 tbsp garam masala
  • 1 1/2 tsps ground turmeric
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp cayenne
  • 1 tsp salt

DIRECTIONS

  1. In the bowl of a food processor, combine the ginger, onion, and garlic. Process until finely minced. Add the remaining ingredients and process again until smooth. Marinate poultry or fish for 4 hours or overnight in the refrigerator.
