Great for banking bread!
I don't know about roasting ribs but this thing is the perfect pan to bake. My sourdough bread in. Nice, heavy, lid seals nicely which allows for thesteam to stay in the pan for a long time. Also great when I make raison bread and rye bread.

Best Ribs ever
First I was blown away by the weight which I was not expecting. It is a wonderful cooker for ribs. I have used it twice and the ribs have cooked to perfection each time! I will never go back to any previous methods I used to cook ribs.

Heavy but amazing
I am not sure if the cast iron finish of this roaster is the reason why my ribs came out juicy and tender, but my ribs were delicious after cooking them in rib roaster. This product is a must have for those who looove ribs!

Love it....
I use it on my Big Green Egg specifically for ribs but potential for all sorts of application...your imagination is your only limits....soups, stews. pasta sauces etc. etc.
