Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best we have ever had. We bought this in late May and we have BBQed more in 6 weeks than we did all last year. The model is the Signet 20...natural gas, 40000 BTUs and it fires up first time, every time and heats up very quickly. We broke it in with 2 prime rib steaks and they were yummy. We like to sear on both sides and then put them on indirect heat. The heat baffles are really something special and unique for heat distribution. If you are looking for a basic BBQ with heat & not too many "toys" take a real good look at this model. I could go on but we are having lamb tonight with mint sauce and I have to go now. Enjoy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from the Best Yet! I've had a lot of grills in my life, most of them, besides the Weber pot/charcoal grills, have been average at best. Some, like the Charbroils, were just awful. The Signet 20 has plenty of usable grill area, the temperature control is excellent, and the thing heats up to over 550 degrees with just three burners. I've used it 6 times since I bought it and I am very satisfied. The lower part of the base is plastic, so I hope that that prevents the lower rust-out that plagued my last grill. I think that this unit is an excellent buy, considering the sub-par company that is offered as competition. It compares favorably to the 3-burner Weber that costs $100 more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Affordable Grill! I've spent money on the "infrared" grill, the cheap grill and the in between grill. This one has been the best so far. The big money infrared grill rotted at the base. The Signet has a plastic base hence no rot! The griddles are cast iron and cheaply replaceable. It would have cost over $100 to replace the griddle on the infrared. This grill has plenty of BTU for grilling anything I've thrown on it. Yes it flares up but a spray bottle fixes that. I like flare when I'm grilling meat. The cast aluminum sides and stainless lid are perfectly paired. I hope this grill lasts as long as the $99 cheapo that lasted seven years. The infrared barely made three! It's plenty big enough for our family of six. I highly recommend this grill!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Nice Grill I like this grill it seems well built. I also like the cooking grate feature that allows what you are grilling to cook in its own juices. The only draw backs so far is the handle gets a little hot. Not hot enough so that you can not touch it but still pretty warm. Also the gas control knobs feel loose to me, but that might be they way they were designed.I hope the burners are quality steel because with my old grill I was replacing the burners just about every two years. Time will tell.I put this together myself and it was not difficult at all. Temperature adjustment is good and will seer just fine. Overall I think it is a good grill.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value for a mid priced grille We chose this three burner model and it has proven amply large enough for our purposes. The heat is uniform and we have found no need for settings higher than medium. The shape of the individual cast iron gratings is an inverted V which really facilites cleaning with a wire brush. The double layer hood keeps the heat in and speeds up warm up.I was initially concerned about the poly side tables, but they have proven to be quite sturdy and clean up much better than my previous coated steel ones.I e-mailed a question to tne factory when I first purchased my Signet 20 and they replied within a day with my answer. So much better than some off brand made in China.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Replacing my 10+ yr old Signet 20 with a New One! I've had my Signet 20 for 10+ years and am shopping for a new BBQ. After price and feature comparisons I have decided to buy a new Signet 20! It is a great solid bbq without all the frills. If you dont need a rotisserie burner or side burner its the way to go. Great temp control, and surface area, with great heat retention for winter grilling. I have grilled everything on this bbq from roasts to steaks to pizzas even pineapple and veggies. Ive never really looked after it as directed and it still works great, just now starting to show its age a little. Dollar for dollar I would say this is the best bbq you can buy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cast Iron Rusty Grates This is our 4th year with our Broil King Signet grill. The grill as a whole is wonderful, love the three burners, the sturdy shelves and the size of the grates. But am completely disgusted with the rust that developed on the cast iron grates. We are on our second set of grates and very upset to see the flakes of rust after only one season. Grates are seasoned, cleaned and used about 5 days a week. Last year we purchased a wooden cleaning tool and changed oil from canola to expensive avocado. I believe the more you clean and season the more they rust! Purchasing stainless steel will make the grill grates today more expensive than the grill! Broil King please have a better solution!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unbelievable Grill!!!! I read review after review and just couldn't find the perfect grill, until my friend bought the Signet 20. He is a chef and just explained how great it is. We also had owned the same model of another brand and both knew what we wanted and didn't want. So, I pulled the plug and bought one, and this is by far the best grill I have ever had. The construction is top notch and the quality is as good as the best out there, if not better. The cover, although pricey, is one that will not tear when the wind blows. It is an awesome cover. Shorty story, but when this grill runs it's course, I will buy another one Broil King!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from So disappointing!!! I have been using a Signet 320 for over 10 years at my inlaws house and cottage since I am the designated cooker. Three Fathers day ago I treated myself to the same unit thinking I would have the same experience. The honeymoon year was great and then year two came and things fell apart. The cast cooking surface started to eliminate and now is completely unusable. I replaced the grates today against the advice of the salesperson and while doing it realized the flavor trays and burners were nearly end of life. Dont waste good money on this brand. The quality has changed!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Grill Ever for the Price Bought this grill for Memorial day weekend. The store put it together for me for free, and I"m glad they did because the only thing lacking in this grill are good assembly instructions. No words just pictures so some major help is needed in that department. Otherwise this grill out performed my Charbroil and my Weber Grills hands down. It lights easily, the burners run front to back so the heat is evenly distributed and the cooking and grill marks are perfect. The Signet 20 is the middle of the road grill in this line, but it performs like a master.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not the quality you would expect! I purchased this grill 3 years ago from Lowe's and all has been well up until today. I disassembled the grill today to give it a thorough cleaning like I always do twice a year and much to my surprise the majority of the internal parts of the grill were rotted out completely. I was proud to support USA manufacturing by my purchase. Today, I am second-guessing my purchase. I truly expected this grill to last way longer than 3 years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Value Glad the Lowe's salesman introduced me to Broil King. My first non-Weber. Love the cast iron grates. I use a Spritzer of olive oil to keep it seasoned. Even heating in all areas. 700 degrees is no problem for this 3 burner unit. Low/slow cooking, too. The swingaway rack is perfect for veggies and buns. The stainless exterior is much easier to keep shiny than my expensive fridge. Solid construction from N. AMERICA. Others have mentioned difficulty in cleaning, but not for me ... and I use shreaded mesquite frequently. I have 60+ uses this summer and the venturies are even and blue. Great grill, deserves to be on your short list.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Extremely disappointed. Didn't last for long. It cooked okay on the upper level grill before it rusted out. The lower grill is too close to the flames. Unfortunately it lasted less than 4 years. Here is a list of the parts which rusted out: Cast iron grills, Grease pan, Grease tray, Flav r wave dividers between burners, Flav R wave Heat plates, Burner tubes, Screws that hold burners in place, collector box and a few other small parts. In other words everything inside the grill except the aluminum body and the upper grill. I wish I had bought a different grill.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from No comparison to my old Weber I returned this unit after three uses. Even at the lowest temperature it would not steady at 325. It would rise to 400 degrees and could only be lowered by opening the cover. Not good for indirect cooking and roasting. It also flamed extensively while grilling some sausages. Where did the grease go? Not to collection pan but rather to the bottom of the cabinet. It did do a decent job of grilling steaks. I am now back to using my Weber that I bought in the early 1970's. It holds a temperature for roasting, has enough room to close while roasting a large roast, and does not flame. Sorry Broil King, but there is only one mid point priced decent grill on the market. I'm very disappointed and looked forward to using this new grill. Regards. WAS

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Buyer Beware Cast grates rusted/flaked after 2yrs My family has puchased Broil King BBQs for over 3 decades. My father retired from the factory in Waterloo. Made in Canada and Broil King used to mean quality but my recent BBQ will be my last time purchasing Broil KingUpon inspecting my Signet BBQ this year the grates are so flaked/rusted that it is no longer safe for my family to cook food on. You would think that a $600 BBQ would last longer than 2 years. We have always seasoned and oiled our grates multiple times a year and they still failed. BBQ was also covered and stored in our garage over the winter.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from missing part & assembly instructions poorly done I bought this in Sept 2020 and I found that a part was missing which was very frustrating, instructions are very poor, they dont even put the part noumber on the plastic bag to easily identify them, not talking about the assembly schemes, its not easy at all to know exactly what to do...and that comes after I assemblied a 7 by 7 Rubbermaid shed in basically 6 hours, this small BBQ took me 2 hours instead of 30 minutes that it should actually takeand they proudly advertised that were made in North America, if quality control is that bad on those manufacturing line that you are missing parts when you ship your products, no wonder manufacturing went to China.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DISAPPOINTED!! I bought this grill the end of March this year. We grill twice in April. I tried to grill during the first week of May and the grill will not light. There is plenty of gas. Now I have to rely on long distance customer service to resolve this issue! This grill was promoted as such a great product having been manufactured in North America/United States! We've had this grill for just over a month. We planned to grill for Mother's Day next weekend too!! I was so disgusted to learn that the local Lowe's store where I purchased this product will not handle the repair or accept the return!! My "POOR" rating is generous!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality at a great price. I have had the grill for a month and have taken the opportunity to use it at least three days a week: whole chicken, boneless & skinless chicken breasts, steak, pork chops, hamburgers, Sausage, corn, and vegetables. The grill heats up quickly and efficiently. It will take me a little more time to control the respective cooking times.Minimal "flareup" even with fatty chicken and hamburgers. The grates are easy to clean if you follow the instructions that are included with the grill. The grill has been solid, efficient, and convenient to use. It is made in the USA.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Grill If your looking for a great grill there is no need to any further. I have grilled steaks in every square inch and the heat distribution is perfect across the entire grill. The temperature is easy to mantain and responds well to adjustments. Puts the perfect grill marks on everything.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Was a good grill I bought this grill in 2015 from Lowes and it was really good for several years. My issues are how bad the internal parts have rusted out over the last few years. It’s gotten to the point that only part of the flame will come from the burners because of all of the rust. I’ll attach some pictures to give a visual of the rust damage. The burners are bad, the grates are flaking metal, and the grease/ashes just fall onto the propane tank causing a Huge mess.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great grill! I have owned several grills over the years from other manufacturers, and have always been a little disappointed in their performance and longevity. I saw this grill at a big box store web site. The price was right, but what really sold me were the 100+ positive reviews and 5 start rating. Most of the reviews were stories similar to my experiences so I purchased it. I have only had it for a month, but I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. The heat it puts out is amazing. I can now dial in the cooking temperature, instead of running the grill on high all the time as I did with my previous grills. The iron grates are nice to cook on. It's also very well made and looks great. I highly recommend this Grill!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not made for the long term I bought the grill from Lowe's a few years ago, it was a midline priced grill and it performed well for the first two years. It had good heat distribution and cooked well. Then the starter broke and it began to rust out. The grill is rusted and splitting (rendering it useless forbfear of metal shards in food) and the bottom heat shield and grease catch have completely rusted away. I wish they had used stainless steel for longer wear. I would have paid more for a longer lasting grill. Have found a replacement grill surface but it is nearly 100 dollars and obviously doesn't last. Have had a lot of trouble finding replacment parts for the rusted out and broken pieces. I'm sure these are common fail points and should be ready available repair parts (or improved to last) high cost of grill replacement is a turn off especially for more cast iron that won't last.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from It was a good grill, but... I loved the Grill at first and was very glad to find a bottom that was not going to rust out, however, just over two years the cast iron grills are flaking and unusable. I thought it was because I am in Florida, but I see people in colder climates are having the same problem. I seasoned them, but they still flaked and rusted. Just vacuumed all the pieces falling off out of the grill. Replacement grills are over $100. Not sure if the Favewave parts inside need replacing but they are rusting as well.. After two years I was not expecting to have to replace everything.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from disappointed I changed my routine from buying low-end bbq's. I was deciding between a Weber or a Broil King. Last year I splurged and bought a Broil King.I live in NY so I keep a cover on it when not in use and I roll it in my garage during the winter months. In less than 2 years I went thru 2 igniters. This year my cooking grate's started to chip apart so called to get a new grate which is under warranty. They dropped the ball and never told that my claim was approved so it's been close to 2 weeks and I still don't have new grates. Not happy about me paying $15 for shipping. Because of their screw up they should have covered the shipping and expedited it for me. I email customer service to complain buy they haven't responded yet

Rated 2 out of 5 by from So-so for first couple years............then..... I bought this item about five years ago. First problem was the igniter. It got wet and didnt work any more. Happened twice. I paid for replacements and shipping!!!! Was told not to keep it outside!! I have a Broil King expensive cover and it still happened. DONT KEEP IT OUTSIDE?? Im at a loss for words on that one!!! Then it started to rust. Darn near everything on the inside of the grill rusted. (Remember I have a BK cover!!) The cast iron grill rusted (I had rust chips in my food)...., the flavor bars rusted, the drip pan rusted. the bracket holding the drip pan rusted....the burners rusted. I loved the grill to start but it's only good for two or three years. I keep it covered when not in use. The exterior housing remains in good shape! The insides went down the drain......

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Much dissapointment Debated about what bbq to buy. Decided that Canadian made was the way to go. I am so disapointed in this bbq. I have owned it less than a month and used it 4 times. The heat is uneven and so low on the middle burner it wont even leave grill marks on a bun and the other 2 burners will barely leave grill marks on meat. Not only that I decided to go with your stainless grill option and had the dealer insist that i leave the cast grill that came with the bbq. As it is the cheap grill from a discount store that i had previously worked much much better. If i could return this grill I would in a heartbeat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from "Gotta admit ... this grill rocks," said the cow. This barbecue transcends all other previous backyard culinary experiences ... as a proud member of the clan carnivore, i am grilling up delectable morsels in a way that has my fine family and friends speaking of me in reverent hushed-tone whispers ... the temperature is consistent across the entire cooking area so i am confident in loading up the entire surface with mixed delicacies - different cuts, thicknesses, animals - it doesn't matter because each heat zone minds it's own business and maintains the assigned temperature ... i couldn't be happier ... considering adopting more children to feed as a reason to purchase a second Signet ... treat yourself!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceptionally Pleased! I recommend this grille! I'm the BBQ person in our family and I am extremely pleased with the operation of this grille! The heat distribution is perfect from front to back and left to right. The grill time for steaks is quicker because the pre-heat time is shorter as well as the cooking time. The quality of construction is apparent throughout. They cast aluminum firebox is highly resistant to the salt corrosion in the air near our canals, and the design of the lid prevents water from accumulating between metal surfaces. The stainless steel appears to be of a much better grade than our previous grille too. 'Very Happy!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value and quality. The Signet 320 is as advertised. Well built. Heats up FAST. Reaches temperatures beyond anything else that I have owned. Am still learning timing for steaks (much less required than in previous BBQ's) but have managed to get perfect steaks (medium rare) twice so far. As far as I am concerned the Signet 320 offers the best value of any BBQ for its size and heat output. Especially love the fold down side shelves, cutting down on wasted deck space when not in use, but are strong and large in the upright position.
