Built to Last
Having received this grill as a retirement/fathers day gift I was excited to get it together and connected to NG. The build went well but I did need to enlarge 4 holes for the side pieces to fit the threaded bolts. Once that was done the rest of the unit assembled nicely.
Having used an older Broilking with the infinity burner I had to change my grilling techniques for having the hood closed for all grilling. Now that a few months have passed I have refined my cooking to fit with the 4 straight burners with the flavowavers. Great steaks, chicken and burgers are just the start of a great grill. Well done BK!!

six months trying to get this fixed
We bought one a year ago. Used it 5 times and something went wrong! It overheated and melted the wires. Unfortunately the wiring was discovered when the hired (not covered) guy tried to replace the siezed part (was covered). After 3x back and forth, with no follow up from customers service, they are sending parts based on my pictures. Now I am going to re wire and hire a gas tech again to fix this thing. Googled a class action as the original customer service rep was aware of the faulty part. Good thing I can call them as that is the onlyy hope of this being used a 6th time.

High Heat, High Frustration
I am torn over my new grill purchase. The grill itself provides high heat for perfect searing, and its sturdy build and modern design are pluses.However, out of the box, the igniter didn't work, leading to a frustrating start. Broil King sent a replacement (received within 10 days of first customer service contact), but without instructions for installation, resulting in a snapped wire. This left me with a non-working ignition and side burner: not an ideal situation for a new grill!Adding to the irritation, the grill assembly instructions are complex technical drawings that ineffectively communicate the right information, making the setup unnecessarily time-consuming and difficult, even for someone who's patient and technical.In conclusion, this grill offers a great performance once you navigate through the initial hurdles. But, be ready for some assembly challenges and potential igniter issues.

It's Just the Best
We bought our Regal over a year ago and we love it. We had one years ago and then purchased another brand. It didn't last. Broil King is excellent quality, and offers consistent heating over the entire surface. We love it.

I was gifted the Broil King Regal 5 years ago. I have used this grill on average 4 days a week, year round. This is by far the most reliable, even cooking grill I have owned.
